Traditional dances Serimpi, Yogyakarta

hello all the loyal readers of my blog. how how are you? already a long time I did not post the article again, because recently I'm busy.okay with it, this time I'll tell you about Indonesian traditional dances from Java, namely Dance Serimpi.

Serimpi dance is a traditional dance that came from local DIY or we are familiar with the name of Yogyakarta Special Region (Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta), or more precisely in Yogyakarta.
This dance is performed by four female dancers are beautiful and graceful. Serimpi word means four. But there are also Serimpi danced by five dancers are on Serimpi Renggowati. Serimpi dance performances usually last for ¾ hour to 1 hour. Composition of four dancers representing the four cardinal points and the four elements of the world.
